Set
at about 400 meters from the beach of Playa
Grande, in the middle of a green forest, the
compound “Sol y Luna” is
made of 8 bungalows (4 doubles/4 family), a bar/restaurant,
a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a wet-bar and a guarded
parking space.
The compound has been designed by a Venetian architect
and it wonderfully combines the European architectural
tradition with local materials and building techniques.
The
result is a unique village in this
part of Central America. Particularly enchanting is
the harmony created by the buildings together with the
marvellous nature of the surrounding areas. In addition
to that, visitors will find an amazing choice and disposition
of local flowers and plants that makes “Sol y
Luna” a unique destination for a green, relaxing
holiday surrounded by nature. Close to Playa Grande,
very near to the village itself, visitors can also find
the other main beaches of Costa Rica:
Playa Conchal, Playa Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, Playas
del Coco. These wonderful sites will take you to enjoy
an utterly relaxing experience; they will lead you to
what locals call “pura vida”, the real essence
of life.
